Frequently Asked Questions
How is this updated?
Our Worker pings every tracked API every hour. When an API transitions from alive to down (or the reverse), an event is recorded in the database and appears here on the next site build. Builds run at least once per day.
Why don't I see all APIs?
Only APIs that have had a status change appear here. APIs that have been continuously online since we started tracking them won't have events yet — that's a good thing.
How can I subscribe?
We publish an RSS feed at /rss.xml that includes recent status change events. Subscribe in any RSS reader to get notified of outages and recoveries.
What counts as an event?
An event is recorded when an API changes state: going from alive to down (outage), coming back up after an outage, or changing its authentication requirements. Minor fluctuations that self-correct within a single check window are not recorded.
